Heather Rattray made her acting debut at age eleven in the rated G family flick Across the Great Divide (1976), playing an orphan who crossed the Rockies with her brother and a frontier drifter in the year 1876. Other similarly syrupy family fare followed, including The Sea Gypsies (1978), The Further Adventures of the Wilderness Family (1978), and Mountain Family Robinson (1980). Aside from a small 1978 role on the hit soap The Guiding Light, Heather didn't turn up onscreen again until 1990, when, obviously bored with working with hicks and animals, she appeared in the horror flick Basket Case 2 (1990). A complete change of pace from her earlier work, Heather gave a glimpse of her grown-up rack in this film. Heather's last work was a three-year stint on the soap As the World Turns from 1990 to 1993.
