Denise Dumont revealed that she abandoned her husband, novelist Euclydes Marinho, after participating in a sex sequence in the film Rio Babilonia (1983) in 1982. In recording for the documentary "Neville d'Almeida - Chronicler of Beauty and Chaos", the actress said that the most famous sequence of the film and that it became iconic as a of the most memorable sex scenes in Brazilian cinema ended up changing her life. This is the scene in which Cláudia (Denise), Marciano (Joel Barcellos) and Eduardo (Pedro Aguinaga) have sex at dawn in a mansion pool.
