I agree with you on that.
I like them when they are imperfect and brave enough to stand bare for the cause. Like Charlote Rampling, dame Hellen Mirren, Vivienne Westwood (at age 68 did full frontal nudes) or my personal heroine LaDonna Allison who did movie at 55 with saggy tits and all wrinkles but she invites other cast members to strip her bare (all younger and prettier), and take out cell phones and "leak" her nude clips on internet.
