Shannon’s also given us shagful thoughts as Drew Barrymore’s pal in Never Been Kissed (1999) and as a cradle robber in Wet Hot American Summer (2001). And, of course, her advanced age made it okay to lust after Molly as nerdy Catholic schoolgirl Mary Katherine Gallagher in Superstar (1999). Comedy hasn’t always been kind to Molly, though. We still can’t believe she was cast as Jack Black’s supposedly unsexy mother in Shallow Hal (2001).
