Mr. Skin is a big fan of the forensics drama NCIS, but imagine his surprise and disappointment when he learned that the title didn’t stand for “not clothed, intoxicatingly sexy.” Thankfully the show sports foxy Filipina filly Liza Lapira to take care of the second half of that phrase. Raised in New York City, this thespian with the model-level looks began her career with a walk-on role in the Winona Ryder vehicle Autumn in New York (2000). Her first part of note was as Maggie Del Rosario on the series Huff, which led to her recurring NCIS role. This raven-haired hottie switched to flicks and spiced up the screen in The Big Bad Swim (2006), Cloverfield (2008), and 21 (2008). So keep an eye peeled and remember the name: that’s Liza with a “T” . . . and “A”!
