Former child actress Lisa Dean Ryan is best known for her role as the way-out-of-his-league girlfriend of geeky pipsqueak savant Doogie Howser, MD. Due to the constraints of network TV, raven-haired Lisa never did get a chance to really “play doctor,” nor has she bared any skin in her subsequent roles--mostly bit parts on TV shows such as Boy Meets World and NYPD Blue. She did make an interesting turn in straight-to-video guilty pleasure Twisted Love (1995) alongside Saved by the Bell/NYPD Blue heartthrob Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Luscious Lisa played a deranged, lovesick high schooler who tormented and teased a captive football hero à la Kathy Bates in Misery (1990).
