Jane Wyatt is a Jersey girl, a high society piece of ass who gave up the bluebloods to make red-blooded men's arteries (among other things) harden with her provocative stage, film, and TV work. Though moist famous as the prim and proper wife and mother on Father Knows Best, Jane had a less conventional side. She appeared opposite Gregory Peck in the searing indictment of anti-Semitism Gentlemen's Agreement (1947), but an ever more radical exposure occurred earlier in her career. In the story of paradise found Lost Horizon (1937), Jane reveals why this Shangri-La was truly heaven. In a pre-Hayes Code flash of skin, Jane took a skinny dip into the water and made audiences' laps wet. When it comes to making viewers happy, Jane says, Wyatt not!
