When she was younger she looked fair for a woman, meaning below smoking hot, but above average in terms of appearance, though for a woman of her age (who when up from to the closest .01 decimal is only 3.82 years younger than my Mom of all people) she has maintained her looks very well so maybe there is some kind of connection about not being too beautiful when you are young to keep looking good when you are old.
