Maria, whose last name can only be pronounced by English-speakers if they pull their lungs out of their esophagus, has spent the better part of her acting career in Bulgaria, starting with her feature film debut in 1980’s ~Priyateli za vecherya~, which we think might be Bulgarian for “Genital Dance.” (Our Bulgarian isn’t all that good. Take it for what it’s worth.) In any case, young, lithe Maria finally made her way into an English-language flick in 2001 with ~Druids~ opposite Christopher Lambert. As one of his sword-swinging, dirty-medieval-hippie sidekicks, Maria also happens to show some Skin off, most notably in a scene where she pulls out her more-than-ample Drooters for some lucky, albeit mystified feller. Let’s hope she makes a habit of it…
