Mamtastic Muscovite mamasita Julia Volkova’s show-business career began in the Russian children’s chorus Neposedi, where she met her good friend Lena Katina. A few years later, Julia found herself singing alongside Lena again, this time in the skinternationally famous pseudo-lesbian synth-pop duo t.A.T.u. The girls got noticed in the U.S. when they dressed up like schoolgirls and made out in the video for their hit single “All the Things She Said.” While Lena has publicly denied being a lesbian in real life, Julia has been more equivocal in her statements, despite the fact that she had given birth to two children by her married boyfriend as of 2008.
