How does a woman who grew up in New York City become one of Korea’s biggest screen stars? After taking one look at Yoon-jin Kim’s porcelain skin and heart-shaped mouth it’s easy to see why the land in which she was born would want to reclaim her and make her a star. After attending the High School of Performing Arts in New York and doing regional theater, Yoon-jin returned to her homeland and won a starring role in Shiri (1999), a Korean action film that had the country’s highest ever budget. Unfortunately for skin fans, that large budget allowed for plenty of clothing to cover up Yoon-jin. But that would change with her role as a jilted wife in Milea (2002), where she provided a great look at her full, shining moon and few slips of nip. It’s not likely that we’ll get a repeat pervformance, as Yoon-jin is now a boner fide star in the States thanks to her role on the hit series Lost, but Mr. Skin hasn’t lost hope.
