Thais started her career off in her homeland of Cuba in 1985 with a bit part in ~A Girlfriend for David~, and although she is widely considered a fairly bright star in that country, her career ever since has been spotty, at best. Her next movie, ~Too Afraid of Life or Splat~ didn’t appear until 1988, and after a brief run in the early 1990s, Thais disappeared again for about four years before making another film, ~Little Tropikana~ in 1998. Thankfully, she seems to be back on track now, mostly due to her titular turn in 1999’s ~Paradise Under the Stars~, which is about Thais aspiring to being a cabaret dancer whilst falling in love with her brother, although neither of them know that they are related, or something like that. We wouldn’t know; we were too busy admiring Thais’ butter-bags during her many topless scenes.
