Terry Farrell played the alien officer "Jadzia Dax" on Star Trek: Deep Space 9 for six years. It's the role that made her famous, but the midwesterner from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, had a rapid introduction into the world of show. At the age of seventeen, she embarked on a high-flying career as a model. After three years of that, she was offered a role on Paper Dolls, which was not too much of a stretch for the pretty brunette, as it was a TV drama series about modeling. After that Terry tore into her career with guest spots on Quantum Leap, The Cosby Show, The Twilight Zone, and Family Ties before making it as an outer-space hottie. Sexy costumes on Star Trek are all well and good, but Terry stopped just short of nudity. Even in the more skin-friendly realm of film, where she appeared in movies such as Back to School (1986), Off the Mark (1986), Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992), and Legion (1998), Terry was skingy. Getting even more famous on the TV series Becker, opposite Ted Danson, means it's unlikely Terry will unfurl her Farrells any time soon.
