Bicoastal babe Stephanie Zimbalist moved from Manhattan to L.A. as a girl and grew up a tomboy who loved sports as much as acting. After years in the theater, her first onscreen role came in the 1977 TV movie Yesterday’s Child. Since then she has worked regularly, and from 1982 to 1987 she played the role of private investigator Laura Holt opposite Pierce Brosnan on the hit show Remington Steele, where she had a brief but memorable nip slip captured forever by the revolutionary technology of SkinVision.
