Shelley Long was made for TV, but she began her career in the improv group Second City before trying out the movies. She debuted in the little-seen The Key (1977) but quickly moved to guest spots on various TV series, such as The Love Boat, Family, and M*A*S*H, where she was more likely to be seen. And what a sight this svelte blonde comic is! Back in the movies, she strutted her stuff in a prehistoric fur bikini in Caveman (1981) and played a happy hooker opposite Henry "The Fonz" Winkler in Night Shift (1982), which featured a few scenes where she was clad only in a nightie or her undies. Shelley returned to TV land and finally hit the big time with a starring role on the ensemble sitcom Cheers as the quirky barmaid Diane Chambers. And everybody wanted to get Diane in Chambers for a flesh meeting. Her success led back to films like Irreconcilable Differences (1984) and The Money Pit (1986). Then Shelley's career hit the skids. Poor choices such as Troop Beverly Hills (1989), Don't Tell Her It's Me (1990), and Frozen Assets (1992) put her in the "Where Are They Now?" file. But when she took the torch from Florence Henderson, appearing as Carol Brady in the nostalgia-fad-exploiting Brady Bunch movies of the mid-to-late '90s, things turned around for this hottie. She ended up in the skintacular Dr. T and the Women (2000) but didn't show off her body of wank. Not satisfied with mere teasing, Mr. Skin uncovered Shelley's full-moon flash in Hello Again! (1987) from the downside of her career. Hope she hits bottom again if it looks this sweet.
