From mighty Oakes a little acorn will grow--especially if you were a little kid ogling Randi Oakes as “Officer Bonnie ‘Bon Bon’ Clark” on CHiPS between 1979 and 1982. Plenty of boys noticed that girls were different when Oakes started showcasing her big guns on the cop show. The former fashion model spent the ’70s bouncing through the best shows of jiggle television, but CHiPS made her a star--which we’re grateful for, since that led to things like Randi’s dunking-booth appearance on Battle of the Network Stars. Sadly, Randi left acting in the ’80s to concentrate on family life, though we still hope to be pulled over by her whenever we’re speeding on a California highway.
