Maya Lawson got her start playing an unnamed (but sadly not undressed) woman in writer-director Michael Harring’s gerundively titled dramatic short Driving Around, Following Strangers (2005). The next year Maya got a chance to show off her talents and her top two in arthouse director Guy Maddin’s semi-autobiographical and totally surreal Brand Upon the Brain! (2006). My, oh, Maya!
