Born in Italy but raised in Florida, Italian eyeful Maruska Albertazzi has had a most promising start to her career as a skinternational star. In erotic auteur Tinto Brass’s Private (2003), Maruska bared all three B’s playing a woman who won’t let her boyfriend bang her back door until he puts a ring on her finger. Four years later she showed up completely bare and Brazilian waxed on the Italian stage as Salome in the Strauss opera of the same name. The production was directed by her cousin Giorgio Albertazzi, best known as an actor in movies like Last Year at Marienbad (1961). Audiences panned the opera, which also featured nude soprano Francesca Patané, but Maruska’s onstage nudity was just getting started. In Rome, Milan, and Bologna, she appeared in the play Acid Rosa, where she did a monologue totally naked on stage wearing just her own pink dyed hair (on the top AND the bottom).
