It’s been a weird career for Justine Miceli, making her debut as a child actress in the TV movie The Shopping Bag Lady (1975) and then waiting until 1992 to return to the small screen as a regular on As the World Turns. This stern-looking brunette then got our trousers churning with a breakthrough role as Det. Adrianne Lesniak on the 1994 season of NYPD Blue. After baring her buns and some partial breasts, Justine’s character broke up with fellow detective Nicholas Turturro--ultimately trying to ditch him by pretending to be a lesbian. Things looked promising as Det. Les actually pondered going lez, but the producers abruptly dropped the storyline. They also dropped Justine, who went on to memorable guest roles on shows such as Seinfeld and The X Files. She’s also been doing commercials, so somebody needs to get this talented actress back on our . . . er, her beat!
