Blonde and green-eyed Joyce Van Patten has a face that can go from an ordinary part of the crowd to a yearning object of desire depending on what the role calls for. The sister of long-time actor Dick Van Patten, Joyce has been employing her versatility and charm since the age of fourteen when she worked her first part on The Philco Television Playhouse. That was back in 1948. In the meantime, vivacious Van Patten filled her resumé with historic series such as The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, The Danny Kaye Show, The Don Rickles Show, and The Mary Tyler Moore Hour. Joyce's big-screen presence was less pronounced, but keep a keen eye out for protruding nipples in Housewife (1972).
