Joan Murphy made her acting debut in the highly acclaimed X-rated Oscar winner Midnight Cowboy (1969). That same year she had an uncredited role in the Woody Allen-penned comedy Don’t Drink the Water. Her career included appearances in movies like The Aquarians (1970), Beyond the Bermuda Triangle (1975), Mr. No Legs (1981), and Band of the Hand (1986). In 1987 Joan appeared as a character named Knockers in the horror comedy Redneck Zombies in one of the most aptly named credits in movie history.
