Harumi burst onto the Japanese Cinematic Scene in 1999 with a supporting role in the fetish/S&M-obsessed picture Gekko no sasayaki. She wasn’t the center of attention in the film but someone must have noticed the young lady (besides us!) because the following year she was rewarded with the leading role in the thriller Freeze Me. Again, it’s a film obsessed with a taboo of society but this time, it centers on the rape of Harumi’s character and her subsequent revenge on her attackers. Some liked it, some dissed it. We loved it, simply because Harumi took out her bazoomies in quite a few scenes, including the rape that sets the stage for the rest of the film. It’s a bit gory, though, so those with weaker stomachs should steer clear. Sadly, Harumi didn’t go full-frontal for the part, although we’re sure that’s short in coming. (Pun very much intended.) It’s not as if her breasts, which are incredible in their own right, weren’t on screen enough to keep us entertained…
