She started out with a part on Ironside, but Gwen Welles went on to show enough to make even Raymond Burr's character stand up straight. Director Roger Vadim continued his Svengali-like tradition of getting actresses to strip when he cast her heavenly body in Hellé (1971), and she was soon showing her red mane in Hit! (1973), Nashville (1975), and Between the Lines (1977). After that, she was barely bare and worked skinconsistently throughout the '80s and '90s until her death in 1993. Now she's entertaining in that great Skin Central in the sky.
