Gina Ravera landed her first acting gig on an episode of In Living Color shortly before taking on skinematic efforts such as Lambada (1990), a.k.a. The Original Erotic Dance, as it's translated from its Italian title. She returned to the boob tube for a gig on Silk Stalkings and continued on in the world of the small screen for a few years, appearing (completely clothed, unfortunately) in such made-for-TV fare as White Male (1994) and W.E.I.R.D. World (1995). Thankfully, she took on a clothing-optional role in the skintastic classic Showgirls (1995) as the one decent character in the decadent tale. She played a bubbling G-string seamstress, who was rewarded for her charity and goodwill with a brutal rape at the hands of an evil rock star. She did, however, show, and it's her only nude time onscreen, which creates a moral dilemma for the hairy-palm set. Ah, jerk on, it's only a movie.
