France, whose parents apparently mistook the “First Name” column on her birth certificate as the “Country of Origin” column, burst onto the acting scene in 1983 with a starring role in Adieu foulards. Since then, she has pretty much stuck to French-language television and cinema, including such movies as Justice de flic, Libertin de qualité, and Arlette, as well as such series as Lance et compte, Studio Sud, and Un flic nommé Lecoeur. Thankfully, she happened to make it into one American film of note, 1984’s Sheena, in which she plays “Countess Zanda.” Of course, she flashes some ass and hoot ever so briefly in the PG-rated flick, as does uber-star Tanya Roberts, so be sure to check it out.
