Move over, Menudo. Mexican hot tamale Fernanda Romero got her start as a perky teen in the singing group Frizzby. After two hit singles and even a spot entertaining the Pope (lucky Pope!) Fernanda decided to start entertaining us non-papal schlubs. With her mocha skin, pouty lips, and come-hither slither, she easily broke into acting, both in her native country and Stateside. Key grips and best boys on the set of The Eye (2008) thanked their lucky stars when they found out Fernanda would be sharing the screen with Jessica Alba. Unfortunately, Alba's skinginess must have rubbed off on Ms. Romero. We'll have to be content with rubbing ourselves off to her bikini scene in Creature of Darkness (2009). At least until she strips and becomes a Creature of Starkness!
