Former soap star Elisabeth Röhm, a German-born beauty with looks reminiscent of a younger Sheryl Lee, got her big break playing salty-tongued detective Kate Lockley on the WB's sultry vamp-camp hit Angel. She left the show in 2001 for a plum role on Law & Order, a veritable breeding ground for hot young actresses (see also brunette barristers Angie Harmon, Carey Lowell, and Jill Hennessey). Her buttoned-up, feminist-charged role as Assistant D.A. Serena Southerlyn hasn't made her a flesh fanatic's fave, but after leaving L&O, Elisabeth's been concentrating on a movie career. She busted out of her legal briefs to show off her Röhm bombs in The Kreutzer Sonata (2008).
