In the early 1970s, lovely Lebanese lady Delphine Seyrig was the hottest thing to come out of Beirut since red pistachios. After moving to France and then New York to study at the Actors Studio, Delphine worked with such luminaries of the French New Wave as François Truffaut, Luis Buñuel, Marguerite Duras, and Alain Resnais. In 1977 she directed the women’s lib flick Look Beautiful and Keep Your Mouth Shut with outspoken actresses Shirley MacLaine, Maria Schneider, and Jane Fonda. Though her mouth was open, Delphine did a great job looking beautiful when she showed off her sweater sacks and sweet seat meat in The Black Windmill (1974).
