"She's a professional girlfriend and an amateur actress," said ex-hubby Peter Sellers after the lovebirds divorced. But it's thanks to her marriage to the Brit funnyman that Hollywood got a hell of a woman in Britt Ekland. Sellers took the little-known Swedish act-chest out of obscurity and cast her in several of his films, most notably the Neil Simon-penned comedy After the Fox (1966). Oddly, it was Sellers who played the Fox of the title. But Britt faired better without her lesser half. She played the girl who invented the striptease in The Night They Raided Minsky's (1968). By the '70s, Britt came into her own, and Mr. Skin came into his hands watching her jugs jangle in Percy (1970) and Get Carter (1971). She continued the torrid trend in What the Peeper Saw (1972) and the cult classic The Wicker Man (1973). She even played a Bond girl, Mary Goodnight, in The Man with the Golden Gun (1974). Britt's got a bod that won't call it quits, and, even as a middle-aged matron of the mams, she could stiffen the crowd when she took off her blouse in Scandal (1989). If she's in the film, the skin will be a perfect Britt.
