She's not a household name, but Betsy Russell is a legendary figure to fans of film nudity. Her topless horse-riding scene in the teen sex comedy Private School (1983) got plenty of crotches bouncing. Betsy then took on the role of ass-kicking former prostitute Angel, formerly played by Donna Wilkes, turning in a shamelessly sexy performance in Avenging Angel (1985). Betsy's boobies were once again out of her blouse in Out of Control (1984), and you'll never see a sexier Tomboy (1985) than Betsy in the title role. She even went semi-legit in the tawdry TV movie Roxanne: The Prize Pulitzer (1989), but for the next 15 years, Betsy only showed up in the very occasional small film. Then in 2006, her career had a resurgence when she was cast as Jill, the murdered ex-wife of the prolific and ingenuous serial killer Jigsaw in the horror franchise Saw. Although her character is dead before the first even begins, Betsy showed up in Saw III (2006), Saw IV (2007), Saw V (2008), and Saw VI (2009).
