Annekathrin Bürger was born during the Second World War in Germany. Not a great place to begin one’s life. But from that bad start came a good career that has the sexy trooper currently starring in her homeland’s boob-tube series Tartort as Frederike. She’s been acting since landing a role in Eine Berliner Romanze (1956), but it took another twenty years for Annekathrin to show us the meat in her Bürger. In the drama Hostess (1976), Annekathrin plays a hooker in the sky, a.k.a. a stewardess, and she’s a hostess with the moistest as she proves in the film’s opening, topless in bed with her lover. Coffee, tea, or Annekathrin? The answer is clear.
