Neither blonde bombshells nor Swedish knockouts come more stunning than the great and glorious Anita Ekberg, figure rated at 40-23-38. One of the top shelves of the 1960s, enormously blessed Anita's sultry, pensive facial perfection adorned dozens of films, many of them foreign, in a prime that lasted from the 1950s through the 1970s. In Italian director Federico Fellini's masterpiece of cosmopolitan decadence, La Dolce Vita (1960), Anita cavorted in the Trevi Fountain, her black dress slipping off her shoulders and clinging to her massive front. An awestruck poet among the film's cast defines Ekberg as "the first woman on the first day of creation; you are mother, sister, friend, angel, devil, home; that's what you are . . . home!"
